We worked so hard this weekend getting the office done and we got the coutertops in!!! I finished refinishing the base cabinets and they are now installed but we need to get the hardware on them so we can put the drawer faces on the drawers. I am so excited to see our vision coming to fruition and that we did it all by ourselves!!!!! It is looking so great. We have to finish the custom shelving on the upper cabinets(It will be black) as well as get the crown molding trim for the top of the upper cabinets(black as well) I finished painting it so that should be soon. So all that is left is the desk under the arch (desktop) on the other side and the floorboards and closet doors! WOOHOO!!!! It is still kinda messy but we will get it all cleaned up when it is all done....
While we were busy with home construction the girls had some fun together baking their first cake which they called Chocolate Graham Cracker Suprise cake! They used white cake and added chocolate chips and mixed graham cracker crumbs and clodhoppers(a candy they like) into the mix and it tunred out pretty well! They were very excited about it and I was excited that they took the initiative together! They are great kids....well most of the time!
Here they are enjoying their creation! A recipe for a good time! I lost 6 pounds last week! So changing up my workout and adding Cindy back in seems to be making a difference! Yeah! Well I have so much to do today...I was so busy down in the basement that the upstairs went, well.....you can imagine where and the laundry as always! Calls for the business so much fun!
