Jillian was outside playing yesterday evening just before the sun started going down. She came inside and said, "That girl just keeps following me everywhere!" We were a little confused since she was outside by herself. She then said "well, I am going out but she will probably just follow me out again!" We finally figured out "the girl" was her shadow! It was hilarious....I called out the window and asked her if "That girl" was still there and she looked behind herself laughing and answered "yes, the girl likes to follow me." It made for a good laugh...

Kenzie the Artiste!

I know..I'm a horrible blogger lately but there just hasn't been much to blog about. Life is boring and I'm working like a fiend on my book. Here is a little film of all the art Kenzie has on her wall rigth now since she is soon to be taking it all down when she moves out of her room. I'l lmake sure I take pictures of it when it's all done. she picked pretty colors!

Becca and Max

Last Saturday Max was outside with us just walking around as we did yard work. He was off his leash. At one point Becca decided that he needed to be in the back yard. She took a hold of his collar and led him to the fence so that she could put him back there. She told her dad to open the gate and put him back there. Then we went in for something. When we came back out it was to a glimpse of Becca all the way at teh end of our street casually walking Max back home by his collar. The funny thing was, not that he had run away and she had run after him but that he actually came to her and allowed her to walk him back. She mumbled all the way back about the fact that he had run away! The second picture is what happened when Max finally decided to leave her in his dust. Becca: Max ran away Mom: He did Becca: Yeah and I had to go get him Becca: (sad face) and then he made me fall down :(

If only I could post smells

So...for future reference to whomever may need it. Do not leave gallons milk in an extremely hot black minivan for 2 days. I took Celia and Emma with me to the store Last Tuesday between sales appointments. I quick dropped them off at home and asked them to take the groceries we had purchased into the house. I had to be somewhere quickly. Fast forward to Wednesday afternoon when I have yet another sales meeting and I go without noticing anything is amiss. Thursday at 4 PM I head out to the van to go to yet another appointment. I open the door to the van and am assaulted by some horrible smell. I have no time to mess with this now and so I get in the van wondering what the smell is. I start looking around and see the 2 gallons of milk which are now almost empty except for some curdled looking stuff n the jugs. Apparently the gallons had exploded in th ecar after going bad. Sour milk is such a horrible smell. I just can't even explain to you how bad this smelled. The va...
