Easter and Monday's Menu

Check out our Easter Treats Slide show again from Saturday mornings post....I added all our Easter photos to it. We dyed the eggs on Saturday and as soon as we were done (it took several hours) the girls were like OK...can we eat the eggs now? I was like, NO! We didn't spend all that time making them to just immediately eat them..LOL But there were several eggs that had cracked during the "decorating process" so we did have eggs to eat. They wanted to just eat them but I wanted to make egg salad. They were not happy with that plan, they told me how much they hated it. I said they had never even tried it so how could they know...they were quite sure. I made the salad and it was scrumptious...they all asked for seconds and thirds. It makes me laugh...they can be just sure they will hate something but love it. I always make them try everything. That is exactly why. All but Celia and Becca enjoyed it immensely. 6 out of 8 isn't bad... We had a fun day even though it was cold on Easter. It was not bitterly cold just a cold wind which isn't that bad. After church the girls had a fun Easter egg hunt with their cousin, Kendra. Easter brunch was yummy. We had Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Tami, Uncle Robb and Kendra over. We had fruit salad, jello salad, cinnamon rolls, as well as Breakfast Pizza Squares and it was all good! It was not a bad day! And we ended it with our friends The Thompsons...watching Enchanted. Encahnted is one of my favorite disney movies in a long, long time.
