I think my favorite animated movie of all time is Spirit, Stallion of the Cimmaron. I just love everything about it. The animation is awesome, the music is gre at, the meaning..everything. What is funny is I saw it by accident. My friend Monica and I wanted to take our kiddos to the movie and when we got there this was the only one playing that was at the right time. I had never heard of that movie but I thought, hey, why not? And it was just amazing! I am so glad I saw it. Anyway...often in the afternoons after lunch on a Wednesday and/or Frida y I will put a movie on for th e three girls I have at home. A lot of times this includes p

opcorn :D Today it hit me that the twins had probably not even see n Spirit..at least not since they were old enough to app reciate it. I put in on and they wer e completely mesmerized by it! I was soooo happy. Jillian ended up falling asleep for a little bit but even that was cute. Paige looked at me as I took her pictures but the other girls you can just see them mesmerized by the TV! So fun. I am just glad that they like my favorite movie. If you haven't seen it I highly reco mmend it! Plus afternoon movie is fun for everyone!

When cocktail hour comes too soon....

I have spent the last several days looking for Easter dresses for my 6 daughters and I have to say that I am more than spent. I have been to soo many stores. I am not a strict, strict Mom as far as modesty goes with my little girls but I do want them to be covered tastefully. They do wear the occasional sundress especially before they are about 8. That being said though I have to say, do the above dresses look like dresses you would put your 7 year old in? I am all for a cute little sundress on a little girl but the above look more representative of slinky cocktail type dresses that I wouldn't really even want to let my teenager leave the house wearing. I mean really??? What is going on here? If you don't want your little girl showing most of her back and or chest etc than you have to buy the dress and then a little sweater that can actually cover them and that can get very pricey. I just don't know who is designing these dresses. I, for one, DO NOT want my 7-1

Kenzie being a ham

I hate when I make a movie and the picture quality suffers but these were just too cute. Kenzie got new glasses on the same day I did and she was hamming it up today for the camera to show off her glasses....I thought I'd post she can be so silly sometimes!

Becca and Max

Last Saturday Max was outside with us just walking around as we did yard work. He was off his leash. At one point Becca decided that he needed to be in the back yard. She took a hold of his collar and led him to the fence so that she could put him back there. She told her dad to open the gate and put him back there. Then we went in for something. When we came back out it was to a glimpse of Becca all the way at teh end of our street casually walking Max back home by his collar. The funny thing was, not that he had run away and she had run after him but that he actually came to her and allowed her to walk him back. She mumbled all the way back about the fact that he had run away! The second picture is what happened when Max finally decided to leave her in his dust. Becca: Max ran away Mom: He did Becca: Yeah and I had to go get him Becca: (sad face) and then he made me fall down :(
