Big Girl Beds!!!!

We have been looking for beds for the twins for quite awhile now and they are expensive so we had not purchased any. They are 3.4 years old and really needed to make the change. Finally Shad convinced me that we really shouldn't buy them brand new beds because they will just ruin them with the wear and tear. So I have been cruising the classifieds looking for a good deal for a few weeks now. Last night I came across these bunk beds that were in Sandy and they were $99. They can (obviously) be separated and just worked out great. They aren't the prettiest beds in the world but the price was right and it was time and they turned out to be plenty cute for our needs. Jillian and Becca were just so thrilled to get them. We got them after they were in bed last night so we had to put them up today after church and we decided to not do the bunk bed thing quite yet. They would fight over who got to sleep in the top bunk and we just don't feel comfortable with them not falling out of bed yet. They have plenty of room in their room with the beds the way they are and they are so pleased with being BIG girls! It is a rite of passage and I can't believe we have made it to here already! They are just adorable and bring the whole family such joy!

I hope that when it came time for bed the smiles were as bright was having the new beds. By the way their dresses are just adorable also!

Oh thanks...we bought those dresses for Celia and Emma on clearance at Dillards one year. They are very sweet dresses and I have always loved them. Paige wore one for her Easter dress last year too. They are size 5 and 6 but they were always kinda short so they actually work perfect for the twinkies! And yes, they were happy to sleep in the beds. Went to bed just fine for us!
