I made lunch today, as always and I was trying to convince the three girls home for lunch, Paige, Jillian, and Becca that eating it was a good idea. Becca and Paige got down to business and Jillian is still looking at me all weird and not eating. The following is what followed.
I looked at her and said, "Eat..come on." What is she waiting for?
Jillian: (almost inaudibly)"My Boca hurts.
Me: "What?"
Jillian:(sly-ish): My booooo-ca hurts!
Me: "Huh?" "Your Boca?"
Jillian: Yeah
I then told her to show me her "boca" Where is it, I asked. She pointed to her mouth. I asked her if it was her mouth she said yes..that is my boca. Boca is Spanish for mouth! What was kinda weird here was that she picked the Spanish over the English word? Weird!
